2. Yerp it.

See who's coming, chat details, and get stoked together.
3. Get outside.
Once everyone's Yerped, it's go time. Pack the gear, hit the trail, and make it happen.
Because with Yerp, plans don't just get made — they happen.

What is a Yerp?
Yerp is our way of saying yes — not just to plans, but to adventure.
It started as the simple moment between friends when someone says, "You in?" and the answer is, "Yerp."
To Yerp something means to commit — to a plan, a crew, a climb, a trail, or a new experience. For the people who actually mean it when they put 'hiking' as a hobby.
It's about showing up, not just talking about it.
We built this app around that same idea: helping people say yes more easily — to getting outside, to meeting new people, and to never missing another adventure.

Meet the Founders
We're not just building an app. We're building the thing we always wished existed.
Yerp wasn't born in an office — it started on a mountaintop.
The idea came to life when Kris Valzone and Adam Steinhoff were sitting on the edge of a cliff in Linville Gorge, swapping stories about all the adventures that almost happened — the group chats that fizzled, the plans that never left the phone, the weekends that stayed as "maybe next time."
Somewhere in that conversation, we realized we weren't the only ones tired of watching good ideas fade into nothing. So we decided to build something better — something that actually got people outside, together.
And that's how Yerp began — not as an app, but as a shared mission to make sure adventures don't get lost in the planning.
We built Yerp because we wanted to spend less time talking about adventures and more time living them. Now we're building it for everyone who feels the same way.
